HCC offers an associate's degree in criminal justice with several concentrations including law enforcement. Classes are offered in person or online, day, evening, and weekends. The police academy faculty teach academic classes online. Bruce Johnson teaches academic classes in person at the Northline Campus.

How many hours may I earn by departmental examination? 24 credit hours or eight three hour classes. You must complete 12 hours at HCC, complete your degree at HCC, and apply for graduation from HCC before the credit is applied to your transcript.
How many hours may I earn if I attended the FBI National Academy or LEMIT? Since attendees complete different courses, a decision will be made after examining your transcript.
